AH215 - Introduction to Athletic

This course emphasizes the prevention of injury and illness associated with physically active individuals. This course will include content on the history of athletic training, the role of the athletic trainer as a health care professional, the health care team, environmental stress issues, preparticipation screening, protective equipment fitting, nutritional aspects for the physically active and strength and conditioning principles and techniques. Prerequisite or Corequisite: AH113.
