This course is designed for the non-science major student. The course is a survey of fundamental concepts in biology with emphasis on current issues and social implications, such as environmental issues, ecology, heredity, etc. Cell and molecular biology, as well as nutrition will also be covered. The lab will consist of hands-on experimentation over topics discussed in lecture. Previously offered as Bio105.
