EMT150 - Emergency Medical Tech-Basic

This course is designed to teach individuals to perform skills responding to a scene of illness and injury in all emergency situations. Body systems will include: soft tissue, circulatory, nervous and respiratory. Skills learned in the class include but are not limited to the following: bandaging, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, emergency childbirth, lifting and moving patients, muscle and skeletal system, emergency care of upper and lower extremities, handling of hazardous materials patient assessment, use of M.A.S.T., extrication tools, and disentanglement procedures.
