PHYS115 - Survey of Physics

This course is an introduction to vector algebra, construction of free body diagrams, Newtonian particle/rigid body dynamics, torque, acceleration, work, energy, power, impulse, and momentum. Laboratory exercises will be conducted with the algebra-based sequence of lecture. Prerequisites: ENG095, MATH180 and READ095, or ENG098 and MATH180, or equivalent COMPASS/ACT scores.
