LCC Accreditation
Luna Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). Luna Community College first applied for NCA candidacy in 1978 as Luna Vocational Technical Institute. Accreditation was first granted in 1982 by NCA and the last Reaffirmation of Accreditation was granted in 2004-2005. LCC's Self Study report was submitted to the Higher Learning Commission on Friday, August 15th, 2014. That report is available for review in PDF format.Below are the Criteria for Accrediation that are the standards of quality by which the Commission determines whether an institution merits reaffirmation of accreditation.
